The first fruits will be completely ripe around 60 days after the plant is transplanted into the soil. The warmer the weather when the cycle starts, the faster they will ripen. In case the plant is sowed directly in soil (or kept in a pot), the first ripe fruits will be up for harvest in about 90 to 100 days after the seeds are sowed.
